Precision Vasectomy Reversal for

Restoring Fertility

Vasectomy reversal is a microsurgical procedure to reconnect the vas deferens—the tubes that carry sperm—allowing the possibility of natural conception.

01

Surgical Access

A small incision is made in the scrotum to expose the two severed ends of the vas deferens on each side.

02

Fluid Analysis

Fluid is collected from the testicular end of the vas deferens and examined under a microscope to check for the presence of sperm, which guides the next step of the surgery.

03

Reconnecting the Vas Deferens

  • If the fluid is thin and sperm are detected, a standard connection is performed. Thin fluid without sperm may still be warrant a standard connection based on time interval.

  • If the fluid is thick and no sperm are detected, a vasoepididymostomy may need to be performed if a blockage is found in the epididymis.

04

Microsurgical Precision and Recovery

The reconnection is done with a surgical microscope for precision. Average surgical time is 2-2.5 hours. under anesthesia and is outpatient. Recovery involves rest with some activity restrictions to ensure healing.

What to expect after your surgery.
